KAUST Initiatives and Special Projects
KAUST is an important contributor to the implementation of Saudi Arabia VISION 2030.
In this view, the University has launched a series of initiatives and special projects to support the ambitions of the Kingdom to diversify its economy, accelerate carbon neutrality, and contribute to find rapid solutions to global challenges.
For example, KAUST Academy is contributing to develop the human potential of the Kingdom to ensure a skilled workforce; KAUST Climate and Livability Initiative is addressing climate impact on human health, society, and the economy; KAUST Artificial Intelligence Initiative is transitioning the country through digital transformation; KAUST Smart-Health Initiative is advancing the bio innovation ecosystem of the Kingdom; and Future Cities and Robotics at KAUST is working with NEOM to shape a new way to live and work in sustainable metropolitan environments.
Those initiatives and special projects are the KAUST signature to support growth, sustainability, progress and prosperity in Saudi Arabia.
